Microneedling is a cosmetic treatment used to treat different types of skin conditions. This technique involves using multiple tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin and cause physical trauma. The procedure usually takes 20-30 minutes after you are initially numbed, depending on how big the area is. First, you’ll get a numbing cream applied to your face so that you can’t feel the needle pricks. Then the microneedling pen will move the tiny needles around your face, making small cuts in your skin, triggering the skin repair process. What Is Microneedling with Natural Growth factors?

Microneedling with Natural Growth factors is a cosmetic treatment that stimulates collagen production by rolling fine needles over your skin and applying platelets, which are one of the components of blood. The addition of Natural Growth factors from the blood makes microneedling more effective with less downtime due to the healing nature of plasma. The liquid in blood is plasma, while platelets are solid. Platelets help blood clot, so they are vital for healing wounds and injuries. Natural Growth factors are plasma in which the concentration of platelets is higher than that of other blood components. Our practitioner will take your blood sample and then use a spinning tool called a centrifuge to separate the Natural Growth factors from the rest of the blood. Natural Growth factors contain proteins, including growth factors and cytokines. These proteins help skin tissue repair itself. First, our practitioner will use a microneedling tool to prick the skin, making tiny holes in the skin’s surface. How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of treatments that each person receives will vary. You may need repeat treatments to obtain your optimum results. Larger scars or burns may take longer to respond to treatment. If you are receiving the Natural Growth factors microneedling treatment for signs of aging skin, you may wish to have repeat treatments. Microneedling with Natural Growth factors can also take a few weeks to show results, as the body takes time to produce collagen. What is Filler?

The facial fillers used at LUXE Med Spa are made from hyaluronic acid. The use of fillers can eliminate wrinkles, plump and hydrate lips, replace soft-tissue volume loss, raise scar depressions, and volumize creases and folds of the face. As we age, our skin becomes more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines, especially due to sun damage and muscle movement. Facial fillers provide a solution to such damage through facial injections.

How much does Filler cost?

Because everyone’s needs are different, and with such a wide variety of treatments involving filler, a personal consultation is the best way to establish cost. With that in mind, filler treatments start at $650. This cost not only reflects the price of the product, but also the skill, knowledge and expertise of the medical injector. We do not price match.

When will I see results?

Results are visible immediately after treatment. The healing process then begins which involves swelling for about 3-7 days depending on the amount injected, area injected, and how your body reacts to the procedure. The product then settles and you’ll enjoy your final results about 2-3 weeks after injections. Please give yourself a minimum of 2 weeks before any events or vacations in case of residual bruising and swelling.

How long do results last?

Longevity differs from person to person and from treatment to treatment. Because the product is being injected into the body, some bodies may metabolize the product faster than others. See below for average longevity based on treatment:
